ABOUT THE STORE

Our Hampstead shop stocks a variety of professional art materials, student supplies and an excellent kids' range to inspire the artist in everyone, no matter their age. We also host several workshops for adults and children on the activity table that forms the artistic centre of the shop.

Our shop is in the heart of Hampstead and less than 50 yards from Hampstead underground station.

The home and resting place of English Romantic painter John Constable, Hampstead is a beautiful borough of London and home to the Hampstead School of Art. Hampstead Heath plays host to The Affordable Art Fair every year and is a favourite subject of local watercolour painters across London. It is also within close proximity of Middlesex University, which has a thriving community of students studying Illustration, Graphic Design, Fine Art and other creative courses.

Cass Art is the UK’s leading art materials supplier. We provide the world’s best art brands at the most affordable prices, and our staff are all artists so that we can provide friendly, expert advice on all your creative projects at our art supplies store.

Unfortunately, this store is not wheelchair accessible. The nearest wheelchair accessible store is our Islington flagship store.

MATILDA BERGER

HAMPSTEAD STORE

"Currently my favourite subject for my work is kitchen tables. I love the mundaneness of a messy breakfast table or the chaoticness of a dinner party spread. I paint and draw from photos I have taken myself, by friends, or images I come across elsewhere. My favourite mediums for these pieces are coloured pencils and gouache as well as using alcoholic markers to add bits of colour to monoprints."

HAMPSTEAD ART SPACE

Measuring just over 2 metres, along the wall of the entrance, the glass front allows the Art Space to look out onto Heath Street. Since it opened, it has played host to a number of artists such as Katy Sayers Green, Mahshid Alaghband and 2019 BP Portrait Award exhibitor Tedi Lena.
