ANNUAL ISLINGTON MENORAH LIGHTING

The Islington Menorah Lighting has grown to become the second-biggest public menorah lighting in the UK, bringing together Jewish and non-Jewish members of the community, from Islington and beyond. The event is hosted by Chabad Islington, a charity serving the Jewish community of Islington. While celebrating the Jewish festival of Chanukah, the event aims to promote community cohesion and tolerance in the diverse borough of Islington. jewishislington.co.uk/chanukah
The team from Cass Art will be running creative activities for ages 5-10. Young people can decorate, colour-in and adorn menorah candles and get creative making 'Happy Hanukkah' greeting cards.
