BEGINNER'S BOOK BINDING

Artist Michelle Murray will be teaching beginner's book binding in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Cass Art Liverpool. Participants will learn and construct their very own handmade sketchbook using materials provided on the day. There will be a selection of traditional Japanese Washi paper to back the books in.
Michelle Murray is a multidisciplinary artist who works in a variety of mediums, from illustration, making handmade watercolours, sketchbooks and charcoal to prints and 3D sculptures. She studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins Art College where she specialised in illustration. Her work is inspired by everyday life, from childhood to nature in a Scandinavain folklore style.
