Cass Art is collaborating with Sky Arts to support its Portrait Artist of the Year TV show. Sky Arts have created a fantastic new TV format which is dedicated to finding the Portrait Artist of the Year. Throughout the summer, participants will be challenged to produce a portrait of three sitters at the Sky Arts festivals held throughout the UK. At least one of the sitters will be a public figure. At the end of each heat a panel of expert judges will choose the artist they believe to be the most talented to go through to the final.
You too can join with the Sky Arts festivals where you'll find various live workshops and activities to get you in the creative mood.
The line up of remaining cities include:
Royal Dublin Society, Dublin. Sunday 14 July. Event starts at 10am. For more info click here.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow. Sunday 21 July. Event starts at 11am
