CREATIVE CREATURES - DRAWING WORKSHOPS

Join artist Rebecca Cahill Roots to learn how to draw mini-beasts and bugs using Faber-Castell Black Edition Pencils. Bring your best big bright insects to life with some fun drawing exercises, top tips and stencils to play with. In our family workshop everyone can get involved and have a go at experimenting with these super colourful and versatile colouring pencils. We’ll try out some exercises to get those little fingers warmed up and then draw our favourite bugs. 

For those a little older, join us at 12.30 or 2pm to learn some new sketching skills, get the chance to experiment with tone, texture and cross-hatching. Show us your skills and create a colourful creature with these silky smooth vivid pencils. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.  We’ve got loads of materials so you can have a go too!

Teen Workshop: 12.30 - 1.30pm  For ages 10 - 16 years

Teen Workshop: 2pm - 3pm  For ages 10 - 16 years

Please note, these workshops take place on the lower ground floor and there is no step-free access. The workshops take place on the shop floor during trading hours. Please expect typical levels of sound, light, and activity.
