Past event: Creative Children’s Courses at Camden Arts Centre
To find out about our current events please refer to our events page.
Camden Arts Centre is a place for contemporary visual art and education. Placing the artist at the core of the programme, Camden Arts Centre strives to involve members of the public in the ideas and processes of today's artists, and the artists who inspire them.
Over half term and holiday periods, Camden Arts Centre runs exciting, creative courses for Infants (5-7 years) and Juniors (8-11 years). The courses take inspiration from exhibitions in the galleries and range in media from ceramics to film to painting and drawing, culminating in an exhibition for parents and guardians on the final day. In February, children will invent and construct kinetic objects in Drawing Machines, while in April the courses are focused on making everyday objects with clay and producing a short documentary with film and video techniques.
Half-term: 18 – 21 February 2014
Holidays: 15 – 18 April 2014
