Founded by Kit Hammonds and Angela Robinson in 1997, Xhibit showcases the best emerging creatives from UAL (University of the Arts London). Xhibit is open to all current students and is selected by an expert panel of creative industry professionals. The resulting exhibition reflects the diverse range of creativity at UAL. Artist Chris Makin won the Cass Art Award for £500 of art supplies for his painting at Xhibit, Loom 1. We interviewed Chris to find out more about his work…

Artist Interview: David Mach discusses his epic installation at Cass Art Glasgow

This spring we welcome the acclaimed Scottish artist, and Turner Prize nominee, David Mach to Cass Art Glasgow. Using some 5 tonnes of newspaper, Mach will take over the store's Art Space for a six week period to create a colossal artwork, Against the Tide. We catch up with David as he begins building this epic installation.
