Are you a first or second year undergraduate on a creative course in a UK institution? Do you want to get a chance to work for a well-known art brand through your university? Would you like the opportunity to get your hands on new and exciting art products to test and review? Do you want to gain experience in organising creative events on your campus? Would you like the chance to guest write for an established blog? Do you want to widen your network of young creatives across the UK?
Would you like us to stop asking you rhetorical questions and tell you about the opportunity instead?
Applications for the Cass Art Student Ambassador programme are still open! They close on 7th August so read on for more information...
Cass Art has had an incredible response to our call-out for Cass Art Student Ambassadors this year and we'd love to thank everyone who has applied so far. We want to make sure that this opportunity reaches as many creative students across the UK as possible, however, so we are still on the lookout for a few more great people to come and join us from the following cities:
- The Slade School of Art, London
What does the Cass Art Student Ambassador Programme involve?
You’ll be invited down to the all-expenses-paid Welcome Day at Cass Art Islington, the flagship store, to meet fellow ambassadors, get messy with materials and become fluent in all things Cass Art.
As part of the team you’ll be connected to all the opportunities that the arts industry has to offer as well as a team of 30+ likeminded creative undergraduates, spread across the UK. You’ll represent Cass Art in your institution – helping to spread the message of our student discounts, ticket offers, new product launches and exclusive events – and even coordinate a few of your own! Student Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to guest write for the Cass Art blog and share their arty advice and work with the world.
In return for your hard work, Cass Art will send you tailored arty goodies throughout the year. Plus to celebrate your time with us, at the end of the year, we showcase Student Ambassador art work in a free exhibition, organised by Cass Art, as part of Free Range at the Old Truman Brewery. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with leading industry professionals at Free Thinking, a series of creative talks curated by Cass Art especially for students & recent graduates. It's also going to make your CV stand out, with some shiny, real life art work experience.
Want to apply?
If you're a first or second year art student studying in any of the cities listed above, please send a brief covering letter, outlining why you think you are suitable for the role, to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 7th August. Good luck!
