If you could keep only one Memory, what would it be?

To find out about our current events please refer to our events page

The V&A opened the doors of Sky Arts Ignition: Memory Palace in June. The immersive exhibition poses the question 'If you could keep only one memory, what would it be?', a question inspired by a commisioned work of fiction by Hari Kunzru. To celebrate the exhibition, Cass Art have teamed up with the V&A to bring you a special ticket offer and some in-store inspiration by our very own Cass Artists.

As you walk through Memory Palace, be guided by a narrative created by 20 internationally acclaimed artists including Le Gun, Oded Ezer and Luke Pearson. You can watch a number of artist interviews and how they responded to the thought-provoking question on the V&A Ispiration and Process feature. Read on for more ways to engage with the exhibition itself and the sponsor Sky Arts Ignition...

Cass Art Staff Artists Preserve Memory

Our in-store staff artists have worked in acrylic, spray paint, pastels and sketching to document their favourite memories and celebrate our special ticket offer for Cass Art customers.

All our stores now exhibit the works by Cass Art staff artists Jeremy Burns, Simon ShowellAilish Sullivan and Jeanette Duncan alongside the products they chose to represent their memories. Click on their names to see their story.

Interact and represent your chosen memory...

If you wanted to preserve your only memory, what medium would you use?
Would it be from your childhood, the best meal you ever had, the first time you completed a drawing? Sky Arts Ignition are hosting an online Memory Bank for you to contribute to.

We would also love to know what your memory of choice would be on Twitter - let us know by using #cassart #artisticmemory with your creations.

At the end of the Memory Palace exhibition you can also add your memory on a huge screen for all visitors to see. Our very own founder Mark Cass drew himself at the exhibition last week, can you spot the mention in the image below?
