KAOS Open Studios

by Cass Art

It is in the nature of artists to want to share – share their work, their ideas and their passion for the creative arts. The art group KAOS – Kingston Artists’ Open Studios – is no exception to the rule, and has gone from strength to strength since it established in 2010.

A voluntary group set up by local artists, KAOS aims to promote the visual arts in Kingston upon Thames, the home of the Cass Art Kingston shop. It has held 15 exhibitions since its launch four years ago, and its main event Open Studios is set to be another success this year.

Taking place on the weekends of 7th June and 14th June, Open Studios 2014 will see 53 artists from several boroughs exhibiting at various venues around Kingston.

Using their handy trail map, wander around the streets of Kingston and spend your weekend taking in the varied and talented work of local artists. All work is available for purchase so treat yourself to your favourite piece or simply enjoy the cultural ensemble that celebrates art in the community.

KAOS Open Studios is open from 11am-5pm on 7th-8th June and 15th-15th June.

You can download the trail map here to help you find your way through the venues and see which is artist is exhibiting where.
