Litro Magazine at Latitude Festival

by Cass Art

Festival season is upon us; it’s time to put up those tents, don those wellie boots and join those fellow un-showered music enthusiasts.

Music festivals have become an integral part of our culture, so it’s no surprise that those who love the festival atmosphere tend to be art and fiction lovers too. With this in mind, Litro magazine, one of London’s leading arts and literary publications, has partnered with Latitude Festival this year.

Promoting their July issue, which was guest edited by Kele Okereke and Bloc Party, Litro will be hosting three enlightening talks at their venue, The Shed of Stories.

The programme includes writer Luke Brown in conversation with James Miller, Patrick Flanery  talking with TV Presenter Kate Williams, and novelist, editor and translator Ben Fergusson in discussion with new literary voice Rebecca Swirsky.

Topics will range on how to get your first book published, to the impact of social media on contemporary fiction.

Litro have also partnered with Cass Art for Latitude, and will be handing out free Cass Art ‘Art In A Bag’ goodie bags to those who visit the Shed of Stories.

He has written for many newspapers including The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph, and published two novels, Absolution and Fallen Land.

The Festival

Latitude will be hosted in Henham Park, Suffolk, from 17th – 20th July. It will be showcasing a vast range of music, theatre, film, comedy and literature, and tickets are available for purchase here
