Pintar Rapido is Europe's largest outdoor painting festival, competition and exhibition. It's been at home in London and Amsterdam for several years, and the exciting news is that for the first time this year, it will also be hosted in the city of Glasgow!
Hundreds of artists get involved, painting a picture of London (and this year Glasgow) en plein air, and all the pictures come together in a vibrant exhibition at the end.
Cass Art is proud to support Pintar Rapido with the chance for one entrant to win £750 worth of art materials as part of the Pintar Prize. The term 'pintar rapido' directly translates to painting quickly, and that's exactly what you'll be doing if you enter this year's competition - read on for more details!
The competition is open to professional and non-professional artists of all abilities; the only ask is that you create a picture from start to finish in one day. The following day the public can view and buy these creations of London or Glasgow at the Pintar Rapido exhibition, with 10% of the money raised going to charity.
