Q Do these mix well with other water colours or would the difference in pigmentation mean that used with a standard conman pan colour it would appear botchy and rough? What I'm looking for is a pop of colour that still blends in well...Does that make any sense?

Dear Iman,

Yes they would mix with other watercolours but you would notice the difference in colour pigment as the yellow in the Artist quality would be strong and outstanding whilst the cotman version would need several layering as at first would look less prominent. Alot of Artist play around with this effect on purpose to make there effect stand out further. Artist also use Gouache which is a waterbased opaque paint that would really stand out prominently.

Thank you for your query Cass Art
