The Montana Styrofoam/ Polystyrene Primer provides an additional (protection) layer on polystyrene, which makes varnishing or subsequent coats of acrylic or spray paint possible.

This primer seals the surface and avoids a destructive reaction of the lacquer. For best results always test on a non-visible area of the surface.

Q&A (4)
Q How much will a 400ml spray can cover?

A 400ml can will cover approximately 2 sq metres

Q How can I prevent the nozzle from blocking?

In order to prevent the nozzle from blocking simply tip the can upside down and press down on the nozzle after using. This will cause the can to release empty air which will clear any excess from the nozzle.

Q The nozzle for my can has become blocked over time. What can I do?

Montana sell a range of individual nozzles should you need a replacement. You can see these here.

Q is it golden?

Montana Gold is the brand name of the product. The spray itself is a bronze/brown colour, and is intended as a primer spray for styrofoam. Using Montana psray paint directly on styrofoam without priming the surface may cause damage to the surface.

26th October 2017 Reviewed by David Unterhofer Unfortunately still dug into the foam changing the surface appearance... was hoping for a product that left the foam's texture intact, to allow for subsequent layers of painting.
