Newclay Modelling Clay is a nylon-reinforced, off-white clay.

  • It's easy to handle as it's not sticky, and it can be either air- or kiln-dried.
  • Once it's dry, the nylon increases the strength and reduces brittleness.

It's suitable for any modelling use, for both adults and children, and can be painted once dry.

Q&A (1)
Q Can newclay be used to make night light candle holder

It can be used to make a candle holder as long as the clay is not too near or covering the flame. There are a lot of great designs using polymer clay such as Fimo with a glass container as well.

28th April 2016 Reviewed by Brian Hasprey Very good . Has fine pieces of nylon in clay to add strength . Can crack on drying so best allow long time to dry in cool place .
However have tried other makes and this cracks least of all . Others may say they don't crack but they do .
