CALL FOR ENTRIES: RAW UMBER STUDIOS IMAGE REFERENCE PRIZE 2026

To celebrate their online image reference library, Raw Umber Studios is offering cash prizes of up to £1,500, a feature in an upcoming issue of Artists and Illustrators Magazine, and a £250 Cass Art Gift Card for the best drawing or painting based on one of their image references.

Raw Umber has some 3,000 photographic image references of portrait, figure, still life and landscapes; searchable by model type, pose type and more. A number of these are completely free, and the rest are available via a subscription.

All you need to do to enter is choose an image and produce a painting or drawing based on it, and submit it at rawumberstudios.com/image-prize
