Description

R&F Pigment Sticks are a unique for Oil sticks in that can transform the way in which you paint. They are richly pigmented, with a lipstick soft consistency that gives the same fluidity, subtlety and durability of traditional tube oil colour.

  • They have just enough natural wax added to maintain a solid stick form.
  • Pigment sticks let you get rid of the brush allowing you to work more directly upon the surface.
  • You can also fully intermix R&F Pigment sticks with all forms of convention oil colour.
  • This set contains a selection of six translucent R&F Pigment Sticks.

The Professional quality sticks are housed within a cradled Ampersand Gessobord (16 x 19.5cm). Contains the colours; Indian Yellow, Alizarin Orange, Alizarin Crimson, Egyptian Violet, Ultramarine Blue and Viridian.

Oil paint with linseed oil and wax they go on smoothly onto the surface and are filled with rich vibrant colour. Always wear latex gloves when using them. Allows me to put down colour on to the canvas very fast and then use brushes for the details
