Q&A (2)
Q Hi- can these paints be used with a paint brush for fine detail on cotton? Are they toxic? Many thanks

The Speedball Fabric Screen Printing Inks can be painted on with a brush, although best results are achieved when they are screen printed. They are also non-toxic. An alternative fabric paint would be the Pebeo Setacolour Opaque Fabric Paints which are available in several colours.

Q Can these be used "as is" from the pot, or do you need to mix them with a textile medium before application?

These inks are all prepared and ready to go, so you can use them out of the box on your chosen fabric.

3rd January 2015 Reviewed by Shona Lyons I am using the product to paint on T shirts using my own stencils. I would recommend this product to other fabric stencil painters or screen painters. I looked for this kind of product for a long time and I am very happy with it. It sits on the fabric and doesn't bleed. It gives all over coverage and the 6 primary colour paints allow me to blend to many more colours. It was also a good price.
