Q&A (1)
Q Hi, I'm currently using A4 80gsm black paper to do leaf rubbing art and looking for roughly the same quality or double the thickness (but not card). How does this compare? And do you have this in stock at your London Charing x branch? Thanks Jody
A

The gsm of this paper is nearly doubel the thickness at 150gsm so may not work as well. We do have this in our Charing Cross branch so we'd reccomend takign a look first to see if it's suitable.

23rd February 2014 Reviewed by Deborah Campbell I have found it quite difficult to find nice 'toothed' black paper in A3 size or above for use with soft pastels. This paper is smoother than I wanted but has worked ok for use with oil pastels and ink tense blocks. I'm still looking for a more appropriate black paper for soft pastels.
