This beautiful Khadi Lokta papers are made from the inner bark, or bast fibre, of lokta and mitsumata – native plants of the Himalayan foothills.
- It’s a sustainable method of papermaking since the plants regrow after being cropped and can be harvested again after three or four years.
- More good news is that the resulting paper has a smooth surface and a beautifully rich texture.
- They’re made using the Japanese nagashizuki dipping and layering method and are perfect for ink drawing, calligraphy, printmaking and bookbinding.
This pack contains 25 sheets of natural Lokta paper.
