Description

Brand New Concept! Pastelmat is for the pastel enthusiast.

  • The pastel adheres so well to this new paper that you don’t need to use a fixative between each layer, so you are able to multiply the layers without a saturation effect.
  • Pastelmat, which is 360gsm, brings new opportunities for pastel artists, offering a coarser surface than velour but a softer surface than sand paper.

This Pastelmat pad contains 12 sheets of three of the following colours, Maize, Buttercup, Dark Grey and Light Grey. Available in three sizes of 18 x 24cm, 24 x 30cm and 30 x 40cm.

17th February 2017 Reviewed by ALISON STAFFORD I am new to pastels but was recommended this product - I have to say I am really pleased with the paper - it is easy to apply the pastels, and after blending the excess powder the pastels make is minimal.

9th December 2016 Reviewed by JULIE PETTINGER I am experimenting with pastels - *** I ordered a small size because I didn't look at centimetre v. inches! But at least I won't waste large sheets on my efforts. The quality superb. I have already recommended.

7th March 2016 Reviewed by Margie kanaiah I really like this pastelmat and I am hoping that their statement that I don't need fixative holds true. It certainly feels like good quality paper and the pastel powder does not fall from it . I think I will stick to Pastelmat from now on.
I would recommend it.
