19th October 2016 Reviewed by Andrew Randalls I fell in love with this product through having an odd inktense pencil at home. Recently I was on holiday in Dartmoot and used the few pencils and blocks I had bought locally. I was drawing Haytor and the effect was stunning with the few blocks I had. I drew the rocks first and then shaded the fore ground finally going over it with a stiffish acrylic sword brush to create a watercolour effect. I had an instant pleasing effect in twenty minutes. I use them constantly now. When I got back home I decided to buy the 72 boxed set from CassArt as they had the best price. For quick sketches, and finished paintings, this is the medium for me. They are very intense in their colour. I have been trying to tempt a friend to buy some and he is interested. I thoroughly recommend this set. If you can afford it buy the 72 set from CassArt.

4th October 2016 Reviewed by Andrew Barnes These are an amazing thing, I cant draw or paint I am amazed at the results I get with these though. A little goes a long way. A quick tip, use a rougher paper to get the best results im using 300gsm cold pressed and its great to build up colours on. Smooth paper doesnt work well at all.

28th September 2016 Reviewed by sue hope Colour range is super. They cover well. I have the grater but not sure I want to hear these pristine blocks. A couple of blocks were broken on arrival but guess that can't be helped. My only disappointment as with the intense pencils is the loose fitting lid so I worry about them falling out when on the move, however this doesn't detract from how great the intense range and quality is. Recommended.

26th March 2016 Reviewed by Lesley Craig I mostly use Inktense blocks straight from the tin in the same way that I would use watercolours but I also like to pick them up and add some drawn marks to my painting. The quality is excellent as they are high pigment colours. They are very versatile and, once dry, you can successfully paint over another colour, even light over dark. I would recommend these colours to anyone interested in water based painting up to a medium size.

27th January 2016 Reviewed by Sue Gosnell A good selection of colours, can be used for drawing, or using side on, taking colour from the blocks with a paintbrush, shaving, using on paper or fabric, so basically everything I like to do.

29th July 2015 Reviewed by Elaine Robson Great selection of colours. Have had success using them for drawing, painting, stamping, printing. Still to test them for colour-fastness on fabric. From experience the block particles have to be fully dissolved to avoid them re-activating when subsequent wet media is used over them.
