Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils are a professional quality coloured pencil, which have soft waterproof leads.

  • These pencils contain superior pigments of unsurpassed lightfastness and colour brilliance.
  • The oil base makes them suitable for work a wide variety of surfaces and materials, which include all forms of paper, card or even fabrics and selected forms of plastic.
  • Polychromos leads can be sharpened to a very fine point allowing them to be used on fine detail as well as cover large areas with colour.

This beautifully presented box of 36 Polychromos Pencils features a balanced but broad colour range, perfect for anyone producing illustrations and drawings which are meant to last.

Faber Castell uses wood from sustainably managed forests.    Coated with an environmentally-friendly water-based paint.

My only disappointment is that there are no dark greens in the set. Also, I was expecting the pencils to come *** flat in a tin so I could see all the colours without tipping them out.

15th June 2016 Reviewed by Hollie Sheppard They come in a gorgeous little box, wich is easy to store and stops the pencils falling out. The range of colours are stunning, perfect for everyone's colouring needs! The colour is vibrant and strong. However, they can leave a bit of a dust coating on the drawing, so when your hand leans against the colour on the paper, it can smudge the dust around a little. Overall, beautiful product.
