EXHIBITION: LIZ REID INK - DRAWINGS, PRINTS & URBAN SKETCHES

Liz Reid, a full time artist in Glasgow, presents her new large-format mixed media works, inspired by the city centre's many intriguing urban landmarks and store window displays. Liz sought to use various media techniques and styles in her new work, created as part of the creative '100 Days Project Scotland'. Liz will be drawing in the Art Space throughout the exhibition and invites visitors to join in with the 'INKtober' daily drawing challenge.
Liz is a full-time artist, living in the east end of Glasgow and working from her studio in the Barras after a change in direction from a career in public sector graphic design. Her drawings and prints are explorations of line, pattern and detail, inspired by the world around her. Liz has a particular interest in architectural subjects and helps to lead the Glasgow Urban Sketchers group, drawing live on location around the city. lizreidart.com
