In Paint on Paint, Liverpool artist KEOS explores the fleeting, layered nature of graffiti and the unseen conversations that unfold across city walls. What may appear to passers-by as random marks or tags often carry deep meaning for the writers themselves — messages of identity, resistance, belonging, and dialogue within urban subculture.
Through this exhibition, Keos reflects on graffiti’s transient existence, where each layer of paint becomes both an act of expression and an erasure, embodying the values, tensions, and creative energy of street culture.
