EXHIBITION: STUART BAKER CONTEMPORARY STILL LIFE

Stuart’s still life exhibition depicts inanimate objects, such as fruit, utensils and household items in compositions that explore form, light, colour, and texture, in the hope to encourage the viewer to see them in a new light.
On leaving art school, Stuart started work in advertising, where he spent many happy years as an art director. He met, worked with, and made friends with some of the most interesting, talented, and creative people of a generation, but he knew he would have to leave the business if he was going to make a life as an artist.
