EXHIBITION: THE EVERYDAY COLLECTIVE: NOSTALGIA

The Everyday Collective consists of 7 unique illustrators and designers creating work based on new themes every week. The proposed theme is ‘nostalgia’. They were interested in how nostalgia can be both deeply personal and universal. Whilst a 2000’s TV show can be nostalgic for thousands of young people, the smell of a certain laundry detergent might be very memorable for just one person with a unique reason. Given how varied each of the members’ styles are, they felt this contrast could work to create a very dynamic, engaging exhibition of paintings, drawings, and more. They work in many mediums, 2D and 3D, including print, animation, painting and pencil, so would be thrilled to work towards such an expansive theme.
