EXHIBITION: WIRRAL & LIVERPOOL IN LINO

Vivienne’s work is always evolving and currently focuses on printmaking techniques, especially lino prints which are hand coloured with watercolour. She loves exploring the way her cuts convey a sense of movement and being in the landscape, both urban and rural. The contrast of strong printed marks with subdued colour has become her signature style and draws on her approach to mark-making.

Following a career in Laboratory medicine and computing, Vivienne started as a textile artist. Since 2022, she has developed her practice through online classes, in-person workshops and self-directed study. This has led to a keen interest in printmaking, zine making and urban sketching. Her work has been widely exhibited around the region and further afield. She regularly participates in the Wirral Open Studio Tour, is a Dot-Art artist, an Urban Sketcher and attends Liverpool Independent Art School print club.
