EXHIBITION: WORLD STREET SCENES BY BOB'S BOY

These images are taken from around the world of streetlife and the local people that provide us with the wonderful diversity of cultures found in their cities and rural areas in which they live and work. The pictures are enhanced with additional hand paint finishing that aims to highlight what Bob’s Boy saw when photographing the images.

Bob’s Boy started photographing street life over three decades ago. His beginnings were in Press Photography working in 35mm Film which later became digital. Since the 90’s he has specialised in various areas of photography but keeps returning to his passion of ‘Street’. 

‘A good Street Photograph cannot be repeated. It captures a moment in time of something that life threw at us only at that location. It isn't staged but natural and almost impossible to be controlled. It should be seen as a record of our natural interaction with our surroundings at that time and how incredibly diverse our lives are around the world'
