FREE DADS & DAUGHTERS PORTRAIT WORKSHOP

Dads and daughters: a portrait painting workshop specifically for dads to paint their daughters aimed at producing more artwork by dads about their daughters. Rory’s hope is that by encouraging dads to make art about their daughters, it will allow them quality time together in which to deepen their emotional bond, to gain more love and respect for each other and to fill the void that exists in respect of artwork by dads about their daughters.

Rory is a portrait artist, specialising in paintings which capture fleeting gestures and portray the character and personality of the sitter. He has an expressive, impressionistic style, and he likes to investigate emotions within our human relationships to show nuances of love, tension and humour in his artworks. He is studying for a BA in Contemporary Portraiture at the Art Academy London. rorymaguire.cargo.site

Date & times: Sunday 21st December 2025, 11:30am - 5pm

Ages: Daughters aged 10-15 with dads

Materials required: Materials will not be provided, but you can bring whatever materials you would like to use. Additionally, attendees will receive 10% off materials purchased in-store on the day of the workshop.
