London Art Fair is set to launch the international art calendar at Islington’s Business Design Centre from 17-21 January 2024. Explore an exceptional line-up of over 120 leading Modern and Contemporary galleries from the UK and around the globe. Enjoy the contemporary photography showcase, Photo50, an impressive guest-curated exhibition titled Grafting: The Artist and the Land, curated by Revolv Collective which will showcase photographers whose work expands photographic practice and explores the many ideas of labour in the context of land; discover a rich display of select artworks from Fair’s 2024 Museum Partner Charleston, the former home of the Bloomsbury group; browse an array of artists in Platform responding to guest-curator Gemma Rolls-Bentley’s theme A Million Candles: Celebrating Queer Love and Life, inspired by the Fair’s partnership with Charleston; and finally, returning for its second year, explore the Encounters section which will bring together curated exhibitions by international galleries in which two meanings of the word ‘encounter’ meet.
