NEOCOLOR II AQUARELLE PASTELS WORKSHOP WITH VIOLA HORTOVÁ

The workshop will be a relaxed session, focused on trying out the Neocolor II Aquarelle pastels with artist Viola Hortová! There will be real flowers to draw from, and a chance to explore their shape, colour, and texture in an experimental way. Each participant will create their own piece(s) to take home, and be encouraged to try out different techniques with the pastels, seeing how they make marks with and without water.
Viola Hortová is an expressive mixed media artist based in Devon, with an art education from Prague. She uses pastels, paints and pencils to capture what surrounds her, inspired by all elements of nature. Her workshops focus on the act of creating rather than the final outcome, playing with materials and being curious with colour. Join her to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the much-loved Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle Pastels! @viola.artstudio
