The lead is moved in the pencil by pressing the end of the pencil, which opens the clamp and the lead is slid out. There is a sharpener in the end and the lead can be sharpened after screwing the sharpener out. The black pencil envelope has round profile, diameter 12mm. The pencil has a soft touch finish ideal for grip. 5 leads 5.6mm in diameter next to the pencil in metallic bronze, blue, green, gold, and pink; all packed in the plastic case with transparent lid.
