Description

The New Mabef M19 Studio Easel is a high quality conventional H-Frame easel, but it’s unique in that it is double-sided meaning it can be used on both sides.

  • It features an adjustable ratchet control system, on both sides, for adjusting the height of the canvas holders, which can each independently hold a canvas with a maximum height of 135cm.
  • From the base to the top fixing - canvases up to 160cm can be secured, the base of the easel itself measures 62 x 63cm.
  • This easel features caster wheels for greater versatility and weighs 17kg.

Like all Mabef easels, the M19 is constructed from high-quality, oiled, stain-resistant beech wood and would be perfect for artists with more than one work on the go at any one time.

Q Who is this easel best for?

This solid H-frame easel is ideal furniture for any artist who needs a long-term easel in their home or studio. The weight and size of this easel makes it difficult to transport, so is not recommended for artists on the move.

Q What are the dimensions of this easel?

This easel measures 56cm x min:160-max:256cm. The base measures 62 x 63cm. It weighs 17kg.

Q Can you use it for small panels. (6 by 4inchs.)

Hi June Ash,

Yes you can use this for small panels you also get an additional top part for the other side which can be transferered to the other side which means that you can attach a panel at the top as well as the bottom, it is a beautiful Easel made our of beech which is an effective wood for easels.
