12th April 2017 Reviewed by Sheila Batchelor I use this easel for drawing up to large scale, so it needs to take a large drawing board, and be sturdy and also light enough to move around. It folds flat and takes up minimal space when not in use. Very easy to put together, did it myself.

30th March 2017 Reviewed by Neil Davies I previously had a sketching easel which, while good, was beginning to give me some problems for painting (which it wasn't designed for, to be fair). The Lyra Studio Easel is my replacement and it is excellent - sturdy and ideal for the job. Very happy with it. Recommended to anyone painting indoors - not so much for taking outside as the canvas rests on the easel rather than being held to it.

25th February 2016 Reviewed by KASSANDRA SAMARAS I use the easel for painting small and medium size objects. I paint and sketch on sketching paper, cardboard (usually very thick) and small canvases.
I have found this easel brilliant to use. It is light and so I can move it around really easily. Its bolts tighten and loosen with ease so I can adjust the tilt and the shelf to the hight I want them.
The wood is a nice finish so from an aesthetic point of view the easel actually looks nice standing on its own too - quite practical as I don't have to hide it away when not in use.
Would recommend this without hesitation. It is a great product and at a great price.
