Description

This compact, curated set from Derwent contains versatile greys and blacks along with highly pigmented colours from Derwent's colour range, including six Inktense colours, four Graphitint colours to provide muted tones and two Pastel colours with two neutral lighter shades.  It also contains two black Line Maker pens in sizes 0.3mm and 0.8mm for versatile linework. 

  • Inktense - creates an intense ink-like colour, which remains fixed once dried.
  • Graphitint - unique blend of graphite with colour for dramatic tonal work.
  • Pastel - gouache-style pigmented paint in soft and playful pastel shades. They can be layered for a brighter finish, without dissolving previously dried layers.
  • Line Makers with a permanent formulation - ink dries quickly and will not move once dry. Ideal for adding detail to watercolour work.
  • Portable - Ideal for travel and outdoor use with everything needed to paint on the go.
  • Set contains, 12 paint pans, five mixing palettes and a sponge to clean the waterbrush and is ideal for urban sketching and on location art.

Buildings and landscapes and then painting them their after then add details by using the line markers.
The product is good pigment colours are not bad

19th May 2021 Reviewed by Christopher Thorne My first time using this type of product. It is extremely versatile and great fun to use. My line and wash art leaves a lot to be desired but these have given it a new lease of life. 10 out of 10 for this one and the water brush as well. Enjoy.

15th May 2021 Reviewed by Vivienne Avery Really useful for travelling, you can outline with the pens and then fill in with ink, tinted graphic etc, all in a small container. The sponge to clean the brush on is a great idea.
