This set from Schmincke contains twelve professional quality Hordam Aquarell half pan watercolours, beautifully presented in lightweight metal tin.

Some other brands are hit and miss with the activation of the paints but *** are spot on. They cost a bit more as they are from Germany but are certainly worth it.

The pan/case does has sharp edges.
