17th January 2017 Reviewed by Tim Osborne I use the sticks to paint with, their flexibility lies in the ability to draw directly with them and then work them on the surface with water brush or stylus.
I'd recommend these to anyone looking at sketching, or wanting to free up their watercolour technique.
The quality is top notch, I love the vibrancy of the colours and a decent, but not overwhelming colour range, which harks back to the days of the Windsor & newton draughtsmans watercolour hexagon sticks. Not unlike caran cache neo-colour 2 paint sticks these are more painterly Brilliance!

I use the sticks mainly for sketching but could also see the possibility of using them with other media. I love the intense vibrancy offered by this particular brand. I would recommend them to any artist on the move.
