Q are these suitable for oil paints

Sable bristles are intended for use with watercolours, and are too light to hold oil paint. They also absorb a lot of liquid. The bristles could easily be damaged by absorbing the oil in oil paint, and we really wouldn't recommend them for this type of painting.
