PAPER PLATE LITHOGRAPHY
2nd Mar 2024
The lithographic printing process relies on the basis that oil and water resist each other, and traditionally designs would be prepared on stone or metal plates. Using basic toner-based photocopies or print outs you can use a similar approach to quickly play around with this versatile image making technique.
You will be introduced to fast, exciting ways of reproducing and manipulating imagery using layers of colour to create a series of works on paper. No prior experience necessary.
