Liquitex Gloss Medium improves flow and adhesion of paint film when mixed directly with acrylic paint.

  • Liquitex Gloss Medium is perfect for adding a gloss finish to acrylic paints if you don't want the typical matt finish acrylic paints give. 
  • This will increase colour depth and intensity.

30th March 2018 Reviewed by Graham Park I’ve always used water with acrylics before, this gives so much more control. With it you’re able to maintain the consistency of the paint so it goes on exactly the same every time. Best of all though, the varnish gives acrylics a shiny finish very similar to oils, but much more quick drying. I’ll be trying other liquitex mediums.

9th March 2018 Reviewed by yvonne I use this for sealing charcoal and pastel marks that are often incorporated into my acrylic paintings. Before sealing, I use two coats of spray fixative. The only downside is that this product dries quite clear, but not crystal clear.
