25th April 2018 | Reviewed by Matthew Cook | Great quality for the price, not as soft and malleable as some of the more expensive oil pastels bit provide good selection and blending for use in larger work. Great for building texture and if used with a solvent can be applied in translucent layers to give real depth. Like to use dark and bright colours as the base then layer varying thickness of light tones over the top, perfect if the tips are gently warmed and can almost be scraped on to and off of the surface. |
