SATURDAY PRINTMAKING CLUB!

SATURDAY PRINTMAKING CLUB!

31st Dec 2023

Saturday Printmaking Club welcomes anyone above 16 years old interested in Arts & Crafts, whether you are a
professional artist, student, amateur, or simply wish to spend some delightful time on Saturdays. This is a space for collective learning and sharing, a space that explores and challenges traditional printmaking processes with alternative methods and embraces the idea of ‘a portable print studio.’ These workshops aim to be welcoming, safe, creative, experimental, informative, fun, diverse, accessible, structured, and sustainable. Every session is an adventure in printmaking, exploring various techniques, including relief print, intaglio, monoprint, and screen print on paper or fabric.

For the themes and techniques of each session please visit: redlouise.weebly.com/saturday-printmaking

Louise Hung is an illustrator and aspiring educator. Her work has been commissioned by Merton Council, Wimbledon Museum, Unilever UK, Canary Wharf Station and Marie Claire Taiwan, etc. She runs workshops with different charities. She is a visiting lecturer at Kingston University BA Illustration Animation. Formerly, she worked as a studio fellow for 2 years at the University and was passionate about facilitating printmaking workshops every week.
