Q Is it waterproof once dried? (I was thinking of using watercolours over this)

The ink is waterproof once it's completely dry so you can use watercolours over a previous drawing.

Q Size of tip?

The tip is tapered to a very fine point and there is a huge range of widths you can achieve using varied pressure.

Q What are these pens used for?
A

Choosing one pen over another will depend on various factors such as the type of mark, surface, scale, type of ink and style of working. Felt tip pens are ideal for broad applications of colour and covering large areas. Depending on the scale you are working in, felt tip pens could also be used for sketching and writing.

I just love the way it feels in my fingers while I draw. The trick is, you have to be really gentle and delicate. Brilliant for calligraphy. I mostly use this type of brush to increase confidence and control on the marks I'm creating, because there's no turning back, I'm comfortable with " happy accidents ". I believe this product behaves differently with different artists. I use this for my personal sketch books. Perfectly flowing Indian ink.
