New Cass Art Canvas Board provides a high-quality alternative to using stretched canvas. They are durable and more portable making them perfect for al fresco painting. These canvas boards are triple-gesso primed, with a medium grain surface making them perfect for all forms of Oil, Acrylic and mixed media applications.

I have been working small scale on ‘studies’ unable to get Winsor & Newton boards to continue the series l was delighted that Cass have recently brought out their own range with the exact same dimensions. I bought Loxley, from another supplier, but unfortunately the are 3mm *** all round! |

The canvas board can be patchy in some places so the paint doesn’t take (mostly just a corner on the odd board). But they do the job and they’re fine. |
