THE NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB SUMMER SHOW 2025

THE NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB SUMMER SHOW 2025

16th Jul 2024

The National Saturday Club’s annual Summer Show will return to the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House from 12–16 July 2025. The exhibition will be an inspirational showcase of the ideas, creativity and innovation of the nation’s next generation. The Summer Show presents the work of over 2300 13–16-year-old National Saturday Club members who have been attending 122 Saturday Clubs at 98 universities, colleges, museums and other cultural institutions across the country, for free. Each of the eight Saturday Club subjects – Art&Design, Craft&Making, Fashion&Business, Film&Screen, Performance&Theatre, Science&Engineering, Society&Change and Writing&Talking – will be represented in an exhibition designed by Public Art Matters and Studio Quercus.

The National Saturday Club gives 13–16-year-olds across the country the opportunity to study subjects they love at their local university, college or cultural institution, for free. This transformational programme is made possible by the energy and commitment of an incredible network of tutors, student assistants, and industry partners. As a powerful, countrywide network of shared knowledge and best practice, the model represents an exceptional opportunity to build young people’s creative skills and embolden them to become the next generation of innovators and imaginative thinkers. It also serves to connect educators and industry professionals so young people are better informed about the choices that exist for further education and rewarding careers.
