Unlike most rollerballs, the Lamy Swift has no cap and instead sports a smart interplay of push-button and retractable clip. When the nib is pushed out the clip retracts to prevent any marks from accidental insertions. The durable metal casing of the pen features punched-out structures which help provide a comfortable grip while serving as a unique visual focus.
