CREATE YOUR OWN LINOCUT PLANT PRINTS

In this workshop you will learn how to design a linocut block and produce your own unique limited edition prints to take home. We will start by designing our print using a variety of inspiration including stencils, photos and real leaves. We will then use lino cutting tools to carve a leaf or flower design onto the lino. Using a range of colour printing inks we will print onto paper using a specialist printing press. This creative print workshop is perfect for complete beginners or people who have done some printmaking before.

Workshop tutor Viola is an artist, illustrator and printmaker based in Bristol. She is a qualified art teacher and Falmouth Art School graduate. She is passionate about creating beautiful prints using classic lino printing techniques and is inspired by nature and her time spent living and working in Cornwall. Her fun and friendly workshops will teach you a whole new set of skills. Come along, get creative and leave with beautiful handmade prints.

All materials provided: Please wear clothes suitable for printing. All inks are water based but please wear an old t-shirt or bring an apron.
