Cass Art Bristol: Open Walls

Cass Art Bristol: Open Walls

Posted by Cass Art on 6th Sep 2020

UPDATE: Due to recent Government restrictions OPENWALLS: SERIES 3 will be delayed. We will continue to accept applications until midnight on 13th December, and hope to reschedule the exhibition for a date to be confirmed in 2021. Please note, whilst the Bristol store is closed, we will not be able to respond to applications, but will respond as soon as possible once the store reopens.
Cass Art Bristol is thrilled to announce the third edition of our OPENWALLS annual open exhibition, 'OPENWALLS: SERIES 3'. Following the success of our previous OPENWALLS exhibitions, Cass Art Bristol is once again calling for artists to submit their artwork to exhibit in our third public open exhibition, 'OPENWALLS: SERIES 3' in our very own Art Space. Here at Cass Art Bristol we have the pleasure of meeting artists and art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities on a daily basis and we would like to open our walls and display work from some of our patrons and the local artists from Bristol and the surrounding areas in a truly unique art exhibition. We are inviting artists of all abilities who work in any form of two-dimensional media and style, as we aim to display a wide variety of approaches to visual art, whether that be oil painting, charcoal drawing, or collage.
Selected artists will be invited to display their work in the exhibition taking place at The Art Space, Cass Art Bristol, 43-45 Park Street, Bristol BS1 5NL, dates to be confirmed pending updates to Government restrictions.
Cass Art has made some changes in-store in line with government guidelines, to allow everyone to visit as safely as possible. Capacity in-store is now more limited so there will be no physical private view this year, but the exhibition will be open to the public during usual store opening hours.
As the Openwalls exhibition is free to enter and is open to all abilities and approaches to 2D art, we may not be able to accommodate all entries in our physical gallery, however we will create an online gallery to display a wider selection of the entries on our Facebook page for all to see!
We look forward to receiving your submission!
