22nd July 2015 Reviewed by Tina Viljoen Lovely easel. It was slightly complicated to assemble, but the brass parts are beautiful. It is sturdy without weighing a ton - though I don't want to move it too much. It can be partly dissambled if you need to store it.

23rd January 2015 Reviewed by ELIZABETH PIZER Taught Technology and familiar with plans and assembly. This would frighten anybody! Larger font would be better on the printed instructions and the sheet should be bigger. Had to use a magnifying glass! A shame that numbered items and parts are on one side of the paper and assembly info on reverse. Made me dizzy turning the paper back and fro. There is a mistake in the order of assembly in the last few steps: had to loosen/undo the supports which allow movement to lay the easel flat to attach the storage box. Why?
Having said all that...so happy now I can actually use it. Solid but not too heavy; range of thicknesses can be held, working angle easy to alter, storage box very useful. Takes up less floor space than my metal tripod easel which looks very flimsy at the side of this. The real deal!
